Facility-backed infrastructure, operationally managed

Data Center & Colocation

Keep your servers in professionally operated facilities without carrying the operational overhead yourself. Scalenta plans the rack, coordinates the facility and manages the day-to-day details — through authorised partner data centers.

Overview

Colocation is the right answer when you want physical control of your hardware without running a server room. Power budgets, cooling, physical security and connectivity all become someone else's baseline — but someone still has to plan capacity, coordinate installs, watch the hardware and handle the paperwork of access and deliveries.

That someone is us. Scalenta works with authorised partner facilities to place your equipment, then manages the operational layer on top: space and power planning, connectivity design, hands-on coordination and lifecycle tasks like installs, upgrades and decommissions.

Scope

What this covers

  • Rack & cabinet planning

U-space layouts, power budgets and growth headroom planned before anything ships — not after.

  • Connectivity design

Cross-connects, bandwidth options and redundancy paths designed around your traffic and failure tolerance.

  • Facility selection

Matching your compliance, latency and geographic requirements to partner facilities that genuinely fit.

  • Remote hands coordination

Installs, reboots, physical checks and on-site tasks coordinated with facility teams and tracked to completion.

  • Hardware lifecycle support

Refresh planning, installations, upgrades and decommissioning handled as part of the engagement scope.

  • Access & delivery management

Shipping, receiving, access lists and equipment movements managed so your hardware stays accounted for.

Approach

How we work on this

  1. STEP 01

    Assess

We review what you run, what it needs — power, cooling, bandwidth — and the constraints that matter: compliance, latency, geography.

  2. STEP 02

    Plan

You get a layout, connectivity design and facility shortlist with the trade-offs written out. Roles and responsibilities are confirmed before anything moves.

  3. STEP 03

    Coordinate

We manage the move, the facility paperwork and the ongoing operational tasks, with a single point of contact on our side.

What good looks like

Outcomes we aim for

  • Your hardware, professionally housed — without building a server room.
  • Power, space and connectivity planned with growth headroom, not guesswork.
  • One coordinator for facility tasks: you are not chasing multiple providers.
  • A written responsibility split: facility, Scalenta and you — agreed from day one.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you own your own data centers?
No. Scalenta works through authorised partner facilities, and we are direct about that. What we own is the operational layer: planning, coordination and day-to-day management around your equipment.
Can you move existing hardware into a colocation setup?
Usually yes, and it starts with an assessment. We plan the move, confirm dependency and timing constraints, and coordinate the physical relocation with rollback points where the workload allows.
Who handles a hardware failure?
The split depends on your support contracts and the engagement scope. We document who does what for power, facility infrastructure, hardware and your software layer — so there are no assumptions during an incident.
