How Scalenta works

A predictable way to engage

No mystery phases, no surprise invoices — a process that starts with understanding and ends with something that runs.

  1. STEP 01

    Assess

We map what you run today: workloads, dependencies, constraints and goals. You get the findings in writing.

  2. STEP 02

    Design

A proposed architecture and delivery plan — with options where trade-offs exist, and clear scope boundaries.

  3. STEP 03

    Implement

Migration or rollout with change control, validation checks and rollback points at every stage.

  4. STEP 04

    Operate

Monitoring, maintenance and incident handling within the agreed scope — with periodic reviews.

Why teams work with us

Managed properly, not just marketed

  • Clarity of scope

Every engagement is documented: what is covered, what is excluded, and who to contact when something changes.

  • Operational visibility

Monitoring and reporting are built around your environment, so problems surface early — not from your customers.

  • A defined support process

One channel, a clear escalation path and a change process agreed up front.

  • Cost transparency

Vendor-neutral options and itemised proposals. No mystery renewals, no hidden line items.

Common starting points

Where engagements usually begin

If any of these sound familiar, an assessment is the right first step.

  • Servers are ageing, and replacing them reopens a decision nobody has had time to make.
  • Cloud spend keeps rising, but nobody can explain exactly why.
  • Backups run nightly, but nobody remembers the last successful test restore.
  • Your team runs infrastructure when it should be shipping product.
  • A migration is planned, but the dependency list is still a mystery.
  • Security findings are sitting in a report nobody has acted on yet.

FAQ

Questions worth asking

Where do I start if my requirements are not clear yet?
Request an infrastructure assessment. It is a short scoping conversation followed by written findings — you do not need a finished specification to begin, and the assessment is designed to turn unclear requirements into a plan you can act on.
Do you own data centers or cloud infrastructure?
No — and we are direct about that. Scalenta works through authorised partner facilities and public cloud platforms, and manages the operational layer around your environment. Where something is partner-provided, we will tell you.
Can you work with infrastructure we already run?
Usually yes. Most engagements start with taking over or improving an existing environment — the assessment reviews what is there, what is worth keeping, and what should change.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
Support windows are agreed per engagement rather than promised blanket. If your environment genuinely needs round-the-clock coverage, we will confirm whether we can staff it properly — and tell you clearly either way.
How is pricing decided?
Engagements are scoped individually and priced in a written proposal: the scope defines the work, and the proposal prices it. No price lists are published because no two environments are identical.
How long does a typical engagement take?
It depends entirely on scope. An assessment can conclude in days, while a migration or platform rollout is measured in weeks and planned in waves. You will get realistic timelines in the proposal — not optimistic ones.
